iPhone App Assists In Managing Your Pets Health

CU-Pet Health to the rescue! It’s a new app created by the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University and works on both the iPhone and the iPad. It allows you to store your pet’s medical history and set reminders for upcoming Veterinarian appointments, along with showing you the proper amount of food to feed your dog or cat based on age, weight and other factors.

iPhone “Home Again Pet Recovery Service” App

It’s a free iPhone app to help reunite pet owners with lost micro-chipped pets. Users can receive alerts from the GPS-enabled app about pets missing in a specific local area. Alerts include the animal’s photo, physical characteristics and other traits. The app features the cartoon character Snoopy. Check it out!

Here’s another great way to help track and recover lost pets. The SpotLight iPhone app combines GPS tracking technology with the 24/7 American Kennel Club Companion Animal Recovery (AKC CAR) services.
With the iPhone app, you get real-time, turn-by-turn directions from your iPhone from the Internet and by calling 888-364-5628, where an AKC CAR professional will direct you to your pet.
